NEW! NetAdvantage: industry & company info for investors

I’m pleased to announce that SFU researchers now have access to NetAdvantage: a database published by S&P Capital IQ.

NetAdvantage features over 50 regularly-updated North American Industry Surveys and a further 10 global surveys, each of which covers industry trends, key companies, and guidance on how to analyze a company in that industry.

It also includes the Register of Corporations, Executives and Directors: A detailed directory of 90,000 public and private companies, including 400,000 key executives and a database of over 70,000 biographies of top company officials.

Besides those two standard business reference sources, NetAdvantage also includes commentary on markets, economic conditions, stock picks, and industry trends by S&P Capital IQ’s economists and market analysts. And for those who are new to financial investments, there’s a Financial Education section, complete with a video tutorial on “How to Analyze Stocks.”

Let me know if you have any questions at all!  — mbodnar@sfu.ca (Mark)
