Q. I have a large fine that is in the appeal process. I am submitting my final thesis to complete my Masters degree for Friday. Do I need to have this fine paid off before Friday in order to graduate? And if the appeal goes in my favour, can I just be refunded? I would hate to not graduate because of it, but it’s a large sum of money.
We have no record of an Appeal under your name. Where and when did you submit it?
As far as paying before graduating, it was my understanding that having an outstanding fine will not prevent your from graduating but you should confirm that with the Registrar.
