Request for items that SFU Library doesn’t own
Monday, June 18th, 2012Q. I am trying to find an journal article that doesn’t seem to be available at SFU:
Outsourcing, financialisation and the crisis
Author: John Smith
Journal: International Journal of Management Concepts and Philosophy 2012 – Vol. 6, No.1/2 pp. 19-44
A. Hello – For journal articles, books, etc that the SFU Library does not own, you can use the Library’s Interlibrary Loan / Document Delivery Services service.
The URL for the ILL/DDS unit is http://www.lib.sfu.ca/find/document-delivery/request-form
For the request you have, you should use the Journal Article form. Fill out the required information in the online form and your request will be placed. You will receive two email notifications that your ILL request has been placed.
Since this is not a widely held journal, it will probably take longer than the usual 2-3 days for the journal article to arrive. You will receive an email when the article has arrived at SFU. You will access the article electronically via a link embedded in the email.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions you might have about Interlibrary Loans.
Best regards,
Don Taylor
