Where: REVS Bowling (5502 Lougheed Highway, Burnaby)
Meeting place: 5:40pm by the ticket machines at Holdom Skytrain Station
How do we register:
Please bring $17 in exact change to SFU International (MBC 1200) during office hours (M – F, 9:00-11:45 and 12:45-16:30) starting Monday March 7th.

The Year of the Rabbit is approaching! Join the SFU International Mentorship Program for the Chinese New Year parade filled with dances and cultural performances on Sunday February 6th! All students are welcome to attend this event.
When: Sunday, February 6th, 2011, from 12pm-2pm (stay as long as you like!)
Where: Chinatown (see map of parade route here)
Meeting place: Production Way Skytrain Station @ 10:30am, departing @ 10:45am SHARP!

You are invited to come to the Vancouver Giants Hockey Night organized jointly by SFU International Mentorship Program and the Global Partnering System. Vancouver Giants is one of the top Canadian junior hockey leagues and many players continue onto the National Hockey League (NHL) afterward.
All international students are welcome to attend this event!
When: Friday, January 28 @ 7:30pm
Where: Pacific Coliseum (100 North Renfrew Street, Vancouver)
Meeting place: Pacific Coliseum Ticket Office @ 6:45-7:15pm
Cost: $15
Note: If traveling from SFU Burnaby Campus, take bus 135 Burrard Station and get off at Renfrew St. stop. The Pacific Coliseum is on your right hand side. Tickets will be handed out before the game starts at the meeting place in exchange for the voucher that is given to students at the time of their payment.
To purchase a ticket, please bring $15 cash (exact change please) to SFU International’s front desk (Maggie Benston Centre 1200, open Monday to Friday between 9:00am-4:30pm) by Thursday, January 20 @ 4:00pm with a signed waiver, which can be downloaded from http://students.sfu.ca/exchange/gps/index.html

Join the SFU International Mentorship Program on Sunday, January 23, 2011 for a free 60-minute yoga lesson at Lululemon, Robson street! All international students are welcome to attend this event!

*Please bring/prepare: Wear comfortable clothes that you can stretch in (light shirt, loose pants/shorts) and prepare for the weather forecast as we will be walking to the store from the skytrain. Please bring a yoga mat (although some complimentary mats are available), a water bottle and money (in case you might want to buy something from the store). We might also go to eat afterwards, so if you would like to, please bring money for a small meal as well (~$10-15).
