If you have recently renewed your Study Permit, remember to extend your Social Insurance Number and your MSP (Medical Services Plan) health insurance after you have received your new study permit.
SIN
- Renew your SIN card in-person at the nearest Service Canada location by taking with you the necessary documents explained further in our handout.
MSP
- Renew your MSP by sending a photocopy of your new study permit to MSP (address below) along with a cover letter that includes your:

The Consulate General of Canada in Seattle has issued a notice that due to the large volume of applications received by their office, please allow at least 6 weeks to process your mail in application. Applications will be processed in the order they are received and cannot be expedited.
If you have upcoming travels plans, please meet with an International Student Advisor to discuss your options during advising hours.
