International students! Help us improve your university experience

Thursday, October 20th, 2011

On November 2nd, the SFU Institutional Research and Planning (IRPsfu@sfu.ca) office will send you an invitation to answer a survey along with a link.  The survey is called the International Student Barometer – and it’s your opportunity to tell SFU what’s working (or what’s not!) and what you think of your SFU experience so far.

This survey forms part of a wider ongoing study and is independently administered for SFU by the International Graduate Insight Group (i-graduate.org).  As a thank-you for completing the questionnaire, i-graduate offers the opportunity for each student completing the questionnaire to win a $1,000 cash prize.

In addition to this, SFU is offering every student who completes the survey a chance to win one of two $750 gift certificates to Best Buy.

Your response, together with the response from others, helps us to improve the student experience for current and future students .  All responses are anonymous; your feedback will be combined with feedback from other students and your name and email address removed. The reporting process includes the text of any comments that you provide, so you may decide to avoid making comments that might identify you.

Further analysis may be done by SFU on the anonymized data and by taking part in the survey you agree to this. If you want to know more about i-graduate, please go to http://www.i-graduate.org/privacy_policy.html  to view their privacy policy and FAQs.

Watch for an email on November 2nd  and click on the link.  You’ll have a chance to win big and you’ll help SFU improve the international student experience.
