An invitation from the Graduate Language Circles Program:  Language Adventure Event…Learning Spanish + Exploring Marine Life!

Are you interested in participating in a language adventure at the Vancouver Aquarium, of the most popular attractions in the city? This is a great opportunity to relax, hang out with friends and enjoy the summer in Vancouver…It is also a perfect chance to learn a new language and visit the aquarium!  The Language Program Spanish language speakers will be teaching some conversational Spanish for every day use, followed by some interesting games and a chance to explore the Aquarium’s marine life.

Where: Vancouver Aquarium, 845 Avison Way, Vancouver (Meeting at the Stanley Park Bus Loop, the Bus 19 terminal stop)  http://www.visitvanaqua.org/visitors/getting-here

When: August 21st, 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Cost: Participants will be entitled to the group deal of $16.24 per person. You are welcome to invite your friends and family members along to participate.

What to bring:  drinks, food, camera, 17$/adult cash per person (entrance fee), &  UPass

Come join the International Mentorship Program for an afternoon of boat paddling, relaxation in the sun and fun!

The Conversation Partners Program

The Conversation Partners Program is designed to give SFU students whose first language is not English an opportunity to practice their conversational English with other SFU student volunteers in a friendly, supportive environment. The goals are to help students improve their command of English, strengthen discussion skills, broaden their level of verbal self-expression, and build friendships across the SFU community. All current SFU students are eligible to participate (undergraduate and graduate).
