Capilano Suspension Bridge Day Trip – Saturday, June 8th

Follow in our footsteps across the Capilano Suspension Bridge on Saturday, June 8th!

Highlights:

- Cross a 230 foot high, 450 foot long suspension bridge

- Enjoy the Treetops Adventure, Cliffwalk, and walking tours through coastal rainforest

- Experience First Nations culture in the Totem Park and Kia’palano Village

Cost: $20/person (includes transportation from SFU Burnaby)

Tickets can be purchased at the ISS office (MBC 1200) starting on Monday, May 13. Space is limited – buy your ticket early to avoid disappointment!  All students are welcome to join this trip.

Voting results will directly impact the events we’ll be planning, so make your vote count! - Entry to the Fort Langley National Historic site – a fur trading post built by the Hudson Bay Company in 1840

An Unexpected Christmas – Saturday, December 8th, 2012

Broadway Church’s Singing Christmas Tree is a Vancouver tradition now in its 45th year. Broadway Church invites you to attend this exciting Christmas event seen by over 22,000 people annually. It features a large choir situated in a big, multi-level Christmas tree, symphonic orchestra and drama. This year’s presentation is entitled “An Unexpected Christmas”.  Students of all ethnicities and religious beliefs are welcome to attend!

SFU International Services for Students (ISS) has received 29 tickets to the Singing Christmas Tree at Broadway Church. (more…)
