Submission guidelines
The TWS Writer’s Tips blog features 100-word creative writing tips in all styles and genres, including poetry, interviews, and reviews. One tip is posted every Friday afternoon.
While the Writer’s Tips blog is closely connected to SFU’s The Writer’s Studio program, it is not necessary to be a program graduate to submit content for the site. All submissions are welcome.
Submissions may be sent to the blog’s editor, Meaghan Rondeau, at twsblog@sfu.ca.
Please send your submission as a single e-mail that includes all of the following:
- * your 100-word writing tip (proofread and edited, please!), either attached as a Word document or pasted into the body of your e-mail;
- * a copyright-free image or photo related to the content of your tip (not an author photo. If you’re looking for ideas, check out the images next to the current posts);
- * a one-sentence author bio; and,
- * if desired, your website address so that we can link your tip to your site.
When it’s time for your tip to be posted, Meaghan will contact you to let you know when it will appear on the site.
Looking forward to your submission!
